Gilles Collombin is a Partner at Charterhouse Capital Partners. He is responsible for Charterhouse’s fundraising and investor relations activities and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Gilles has 24 years of experience in investment banking, including 19 years at HSBC as head of M&A for France and latterly as the Global Head of the Financial Sponsors Group, covering private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds and family offices. Whilst at HSBC, Gilles advised Charterhouse on numerous transactions. Gilles holds degrees in business management and mathematics, as well as a Masters in finance and a postgraduate diploma in strategic management from the University of Lyon. He started his career teaching strategic management at the University of Ottawa and is fluent in English and French.

Craig MacDonald joined HarbourVest in 2005 in Boston, transferring to London in 2009 and then Dublin in 2019 to serve as head of office. He focuses on originating, evaluating, and executing direct co-investments in growth equity and buyout transactions, primarily in Europe and has worked on investments including CallCredit, Finanzcheck, Flexera Software, Nordax, Photobox, and Xpressdocs. Craig joined the Firm from Morgan Stanley in New York where he was an analyst focusing on consumer finance. Craig’s prior experience also includes investment banking analyst positions with Citigroup Global Markets in New York and London. Craig received a BA in Political Science and Information Systems (with honors and distinction) from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill in 2001, where he was a Morehead Scholar.

Pia Kåll, Managing Partner, CapMan Buyout M. Sc. (Eng.) in Engineering Physics and Mathematics Pia joined CapMan Buyout in 2016 as a Partner and in June 2017 was elected Managing Partner. CapMan, established in 1989, is a Nordic small and mid-market specialist. She has investment responsibility for CapMan Buyout’s portfolio companies: Bright Group, Forenom Group, and YrkesAkademin. Before joining CapMan Pia was a member of the Executive Board of Outotec and held the position of Senior Vice President Strategy, Marketing, and Operational Excellence. Outotec is a listed company offering minerals and metals processing technology to the mining industry globally, with revenue of 1,5-2 bn EUR and around 5000 employees. Prior to Outotec Pia was an Associate Principal at McKinsey&Company.

Bjorn Tremmerie, Head of Technology Investments (Digital Economy and Disruptive Technology & Innovation) executes and monitors investments in Venture Capital Funds in Europe and is in charge of a portfolio of over 150 European VC funds at the European Investment Fund (EIF). Bjorn also oversees the Dutch Venture Initiative Funds-of-Funds where he is an investment committee member, and the LfA-EIF Facility, a EUR 200m Fund-of-Funds for the Bavarian region. Previous role responsibilities include the management of the European Angel Fund co-investment programme that features more than 100 enrolled Business Angels through which co-investments in start-ups are implemented. Bjorn also previously led the EUR 3.2bn ERP-EIF Dachfonds programme that EIF administers on behalf of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), an initiative dedicated to the German VC market. Before joining EIF, Bjorn worked for a globally active VC fund. He started his career at ING in investment banking.

Fergal is a Senior Investment Director with the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) which is an €9.5bn sovereign development fund with a mandate to make commercial investments which result in economic activity and employment in Ireland. The ISIF invests in all industry sectors, both directly and indirectly, and due to its nature as an "evergreen" fund has flexibility to consider longer duration investments. Fergal is responsible for sourcing and managing ISIF’s direct equity investments and investments in private equity funds, all which support the growth and scaling of indigenous companies. He is a non-exec Director of several ISIF investee companies. He was previously Managing Director at AIB Corporate Finance; he worked in the Department of Finance which had responsibility for the completion of the restructuring of the Irish banking system. Fergal has an MSc in Physics from DCU and a PhD in Physics from Trinity College.

Chris is a Vice President at Kreos Capital, Europe’s leading growth debt fund. Kreos invests in the technology and lifesciences sectors providing senior debt and convertible facilities from €2-100m. Prior to joining Kreos, Chris held roles in management consulting and investment banking in London and Melbourne. He holds a BCom in Finance and Economics from Otago University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Mark is a Managing Director and Head of European Primaries. He has over 30 years of experience evaluating, selecting and monitoring private equity fund investments and sits on several private equity fund advisory boards. He has been closely involved in the design and implementation of the British Venture Capital Association’s annual performance measurement survey since the pilot study in the early 1990s. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Birmingham.

Before joining Triton Partners, Cameron Hulett sat on boards and advised executive teams on digital transformation, such as Tata Communications Teleena, Fivia, Deutsche Telekom and Bosch, as well as worked with a number of investment funds including Silver Trail Ventures and Universal Partners. Additionally, he has run and exited multiple PE/growth companies including Evrythng, Undertone, Acceleration and BlueFreeway, where he has a strong track record of delivering business value via technology and digital transformation. Cameron holds Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science Technology and MBA degrees.
