Charles-Henry Tranié is a partner at Daphni, a Paris based venture fund with assets under management of 400M€. He has more than 25 years of experience in deal-making and start-up building both investment and operation roles in France and in the US. Current portfolio companies include emerging leaders like Devialet, Mediarithmics, Sensee, Jane de Boy and Melty. Past investments include Ouicar (acq. by SNCF), MyFox (acq. by Somfy), Signifai (acq. by New Relic). Prior to joining Daphni, Charles-Henry was the COO of Jaïna Capital, the venture arm of Marc Simoncini, a French serial entrepreneur, and tech investor. From 2005 until 2009, he was part of the founding team and VP Bus Dev of 118 218, which became the French leading directory service. From 2001 until 2004, he was an investment manager at Viventures, a VC fund backed by Vivendi Universal, in Paris and San Francisco. He launched his first internet start-up in 1997. Charles-Henry holds an EMBA from Insead, a BA from Edhec Lille and is graduated from the Paris Bar school.
