Dr Jörg Goschin
As founder and experienced investment professional, Jörg has the in-depth market knowledge and a close-knit network in the venture capital community. Previous stations of his career include Metzler, The Boston Consulting Group, BNP Paribas, Cerberus, Blackstone and Alstin. Jörg holds a PhD in finance and a diploma in electrical engineering and economics. Together with Alex, he set-up and manages KfW Capital as Co-CEO.

Joel Solomon is a Founding Partner of Renewal Funds, Canada's largest mission venture capital firm, at $240 million assets under management. Dr. Sofia Harrschar, Executive Director and Member of the Management Board, is responsible for Universal-Investment’s product unit Alternative Investments. The unit includes all investments in
Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Debt, Loans and Securitisations as well as structuring of complex investment projects and their implementation on Universal-Investment’s German and
Luxembourg platforms.
Dr. Sofia Harrschar earned a degree in business administration at the J.W. Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, where she also received her doctorate in finance. Before joining Universal-
Investment, she worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and Prime Capital. Harrschar has more than 18 years of experience in structuring and investment in alternative investments.
Klaus Gierling
Klaus is a Managing Director and Head of Business Development for the DACH and Benelux region. He is a member of our Responsible Investment ("RI") Committee and also a member of our RI Sub-Committee – Truly Invested® in our Clients. He has approximately 20 years of experience in the alternative investment business. Prior to joining Capital Dynamics, Klaus was a Managing Director and Head of Business Development for Germany and Austria on behalf of Ramius which was a Multi Strategy US Hedge funds asset manager. Klaus began his career at HVB Group as a member of the financial institution’s key account team and as a senior sales person with HVB Alternatives. Klaus holds a masters degree in business administration from Cologne University.
Volker Wende
Volker Wende is Managing Director with SwanCap Partners, a leading independent private markets investment platform with offices in Munich, Luxembourg, Milan and New York. Volker is part of the global investment team and co-heading the firm’s direct co-investment programme which looks back at 100+ investments at an aggregated deal value in excess of €250 billion. Prior to SwanCap, Volker was advising private equity and corporate clients on mergers & acquisitions working with UniCredit and goetzpartners out of their offices in London and Munich. Volker graduated as Dipl.-Kaufmann (MBA equivalent) from the University of Regensburg.
Elisabeth Löwenbourg-Brzezinski
Elisabeth is investing on behalf of Acton Capital in game changing companies and digitally native
brands, including The Female Company (GER), KOIO Collective (US) and ArtNight (GER).
Prior to Acton Capital, Elisabeth was leading a €200m co-investment programme at the European
Investment Bank (EIB), advised clients on mergers and acquisitions at Goldman Sachs, and worked
on bank recapitalisation at the European Stability Mechanism. She holds a Harvard MBA degree with
honors, an M.Sc. from London School of Economics with Distinction, a Diplôme from Sciences Po
Paris, and is an alumna of the German National Merit Foundation.
Elisabeth co-founded the climate initiative ‘Leaders for Climate Action e.V.’, and drives topics like

Olga Shikhantsova
Olga is a Berlin-based Investment Manager leading FinTech investments across early and growth stages in Europe and Israel.
Before joining Target Global, Olga worked for the funds Finsight Ventures and Binomial Ventures investing in FinTech and supporting actively the business development and fundraising for MedTech companies. Olga has gained a solid VC track already of 15 investments and 3 exists in 4 years. She closed remarkable deals including Rapyd, Zego, and Kuda.
Eric de Montgolfier
Eric de Montgolfier is Chief Executive Officer of Invest Europe, the association representing
Europe’s private equity, venture capital and infrastructure sectors and their investors.
He represents Invest Europe’s 650 members to political and regulatory stakeholders at the
highest levels and guides the agenda-setting work of the world’s largest private capital
association. Eric also acts a senior spokesman for the European private equity and venture
capital industry globally.
Eric joined Invest Europe after a career spanning three decades in leading private equity firms.
He was previously CEO of Gimv France, a division of the Brussels-listed mid-market investment
firm, where he oversaw strategy and investments in the French market. Prior to that, he was co-
founder and co-managing partner of Edmond de Rothschild Partners, active in the lower mid-
market segment in France. He started his private equity career in 1990 at Astorg - where he
subsequently became a co- founding partner of Astorg Partners.
Before becoming Invest Europe’s CEO, Eric was a representative on the association’s Mid-Market
Platform Council, and was also involved in France Invest, the French national private equity
association. He holds a Masters in management from ESCP Europe in Paris.
Julia Beinker
As a business development manager on the European Relationship team, Julia is responsible for ICGs sales and marketing efforts for institutional investors and consultant relationships in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
In this capacity, she works closely with ICGs portfolio management teams.
Julia joined ICG in 2019 in the firm’s Frankfurt office in order to foster and develop relationships with institutional clients and Consultants in her designated regions.
Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Julia held various Senior Management roles in the Asset Management Industry. Melina Heinl
Melina Heinl joined Preqin, the provider of intelligence across private equity, real estate, hedge funds, infrastructure, natural resources and private debt, in 2017. She heads the company’s research and data activities in the DACH region, and prior to this, Melina was responsible for Preqin’s data on institutional investors based in Germany, guaranteeing quality LP research used to generate opportunities for private capital fundraisers. Melina holds an LLM from the Queen Mary University of London and a diploma of law from the Johannes Kepler University in Linz, Austria.
Jan Bravek
Jan is responsible for running operations in our funds and the investment company. In addition, he handles relationships with Czech and international investors and, in particular, institutions.
Prior to joining the Jet Investment team in 2018, Jan was employed in the Austrian Erste Group, where he specialized on project credit, especially in real estate, infrastructure, and renewable resources across the entire CEE region. That portfolio was in excess of EUR 1 billion. Within the banking group, he also was involved in consolidation and subsequent sale of bad assets in a total nominal amount exceeding EUR 500 million.
Jan studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna and earned the title of magister from Berlin School of Economics and Law.
Philipp Kapl
Philipp Kapl is a partner in the corporate/M&A practice of Binder Grösswang and has several years' experience in international M&A transactions, private equity, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. In 2018/2019, Philipp did a one year secondment with the London office of Cravath, Swaine & Moore. He frequently publishes in national and international journals and is a member of the IBA, the German Chamber of Commerce in Austria (DHK) and the Fulbright Alumni Association.
Nikolas Samios
Nikolas Samios is Managing Partner of PropTech1 Ventures, the first dedicated venture capital fund addressing the untapped potential of real estate industry innovation in Europe, bringing together leading real estate companies and entrepreneurs, serial entrepreneurs from the digital sector, and venture capital experts.

Stefan Hamm
Dr. Stefan Hamm is co-founder and member of the management board at Tyrol Equity AG. At the same time Stefan plays an important operational role at the investments of Tyrol Equity. He currently holds the position of CEO in the SAV Group and is responsible for managing the Program Office.
Between 1999 and 2005, he founded and ran IVP Management GmbH, where he was responsible for the areas of restructuring and interim management for ailing small to medium-sized businesses. After the merger of IVP and Fairwest AG into the Concentro AG, he was a partner and director at Concentro AG. Dr. Hamm was responsible for corporate finance and M&A.
Prior to this, Dr. Hamm was with Roland Berger and Partners for seven years in various capacities, ultimately as an Associate Partner in Sao Paulo/Brazil. Dr. Hamm started his career at Ernst and Young in Washington/DC as a Consultant on flotation issues and procurement of venture capital for United States technological companies. He studied Business Administration at the University of Saarbrücken and the London Business School, and completed his Doctorate at the University of Innsbruck.

Marko Maschek
Marko Maschek combines engineering education with entrepreneurial acumen. He grew up near Stuttgart and was an employee in the family-owned company during his school days.
After his military service, he worked in consulting and software development patenting several developments in automotive applications.
Marko has been a VC- / PE- an investor in Germany and the US since 1997 and co-founded Pinova and Marondo. He has been responsible for nearly 30 technology companies where some achieved a successful IPO.
Marko earned a degree in electrical engineering from KIT, an advanced degree in computer sciences from INSA (Lyon) and an MBA from Cambridge.
