Nadim El Gabbani
Senior Managing Director @ Blackstone
Nadim El Gabbani is a Senior Managing Director in the Private Equity Group and is based in London. Since joining Blackstone in 2008, Mr. El Gabbani has been involved in Blackstone’s investments in BankUnited, Bayview, Exeter, First Eagle, Lendmark, Michaels Stores, Service King, Sithe Global Power, Stearns, and TeamHealth. He serves as director of Stearns Lending. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. El Gabbani worked at Qalaa Holdings, where he was involved in the evaluation and execution of private equity transactions in North America and the Middle East. Mr. El Gabbani received a B.A. in Physics from Columbia College and an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he was selected as a Baker Scholar.

Martin Kõdar (born in Tallinn, Estonia in 1976) joined BaltCap in the beginning of 2000 where he is serving as a co-Managing Partner. Martin is a member of the investment committee of BaltCap funds and his responsibilities include operational management of BaltCap group, investor relations, supervision of the administration of advised funds and serving as a supervisory council member of investee companies. Martin’s involvement in current portfolio includes dental healthcare provider Unimed Clinics and occupational healthcare provider Qvalitas. Martin is also a member of the Mid-Market Council and Professional Standards Committee in Invest Europe (the association representing Europe’s private equity, venture capital and infrastructure sectors, as well as their investors) and a board member of Responsible Business Forum in Estonia (promoting corporate social responsibility among businesses and raising public awareness).
He has graduated from Tallinn Technical University and has an EVCA (Invest Europe) Certificate in Institutional Private Equity Investing (CIPEI) from Oxford Saïd Business School.

Sebastian Król is responsible for investments in the Baltic States.
He concentrates on the financial services, food retail, construction services sectors. His most important investments at EI include those in Danwood, Magellan, Skarbiec Holding, Profi and X-Trade Brokers. Before joining EI, Sebastian worked for Arthur Andersen and Hachette Distribution Services.

Mr. Schneider is a member of the Executive Board at NORD Holding and responsible for the European fund and co-investment activities. Mr. Schneider has been with NORD Holding since 2011. Prior to NORD Holding, he worked for Credit Suisse in London, where he was focusing on European fund and co-investments. Prior to that, he worked at William Blair's London office advising on Mergers and Acquisitions. Mr. Schneider studied Economics (MSc.) and Law (LL.M). He also holds an MBA from the University of Chicago. He speaks Dutch, English, German and conversational Spanish.

Vytautas Plunksnis has more than 15 years experience in the Baltic private equity and capital
markets - investing in Central and Eastern European equities, managing pension and investment
funds, and handling M&A transactions. Other areas of expertise include the control of business
operations and the development of strategy for business expansion.
Vytautas has successfully implemented over 10 deals with a total value of EUR 250
million and was appointed to management/supervisory bodies of 20+ portfolio companies.
Vytautas Plunksnis holds bachelor degree in Business Administration, Kaunas University of
Technology, Lithuania. Vytautas has started its career path as a business journalist in 2002 and since
2004 for a year was Editor in Chief, Business Desk, Lithuanian News Agency Elta, UAB. His career in
asset management started in 2006 as a strategic analyst and fund manager in Finasta Asset

Staffan joined Verdane Capital Advisors' Stockholm office in 2006, after leaving Enkatsu Solutions, of which he was co-founder and CEO. At Enkatsu Solutions, he acquired venture capital in three rounds and set up a sales organisation with exports to 15 countries. At Verdane, Staffan focuses on the software and internet retail industries. He has been active in the acquisition of a number of portfolios and currently holds positions on the boards of serveral e-commerce holdings. Education: Staffan holds an MBA from the University of Linköping (Sweden). He has studied computer programming at the Linköping Institute of Technology, business at the University PMF (France) and has completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.

Overall Marek lived and worked in 6 countries and attended universities such as University of Manchester, Copenhagen Business School, Oxford Brookes University or Université Paris-Dauphine. Marek has also founded VESTBERRY, a company helping LPs to resolve transparency issues with GPs in Private Equity and Venture Capital by standardised reporting system and advanced analytics.

Peter joined Spintop Ventures as partner for their 3rd fund in 2018. After 10+ years as CEO of PriceRunner, one of Europe leading price comparison sites, Peter gained a lot of experience in the internet sector while expanding the company at high margins. During his tenure with PriceRunner the company was sold twice to American acquirers and once to a Swedish consortium. Prior to joining the Spintop Ventures team Peter did angel investments, actively supporting those companies, together with external board assignments. Peter is based in Stockholm.

Of that ca 5% is invested to different private equity funds mainly in the CEE region. Before taking his position in Swedbank Investment Funds he worked as a head of Baltic Investment Centre in Swedbank and as a portfolio manager for asset allocation products in Swedbank Robur, Sweden. Kristjan has more than 20 years of professional experience in economics and financial markets. He has worked as an economist at the Central Bank of Estonia and as an intern at the European Commission Directorate for Economics and Finance. Peter joined the brand new VC- fund Vidici Ventures as General Partner in 2012 with responsibility for developing and executing the long-term fundraising for the fund. Before joining Vidici Ventures he co-founded Provident in 1996, a financial services consultancy with focus on wealth structuring, where he’s still active as a Parter responsible for business development. Prior to this, Peter was at Skandia as a financial advisor and before that he started his carrier in the financial industry at SEB. Peter also invest in start-ups and was an early investor in Lendify, today the leading platform for loans in Sweden.
