Paul Jozefak
Managing Director @ Otto Group Digital Solutions
Paul Jozefak is a serial company builder and has been both an entrepreneur as well as a venture capitalist in the past 20 years. With his co-founder, Paul launched Liquid Labs at the beginning of 2012. This incubator for the Otto Group brings together their work experience, allowing them to implement their skillsets while taking advantage of their extensive network. Liquid Labs has successfully launched 14 companies to date with 6 successful exits already realized. In late 2016 Paul was asked to take charge of Otto Group Digital Solutions (OGDS), the parent company of Liquid Labs. In this position, he continues to build new businesses for the Otto Group but is also responsible for driving innovation for the group as well as managing a broad portfolio of technology companies. Paul graduated with dual degrees in Finance and German from Rutgers University. At the same time he was also involved with his first start-up in Germany, which was focused on real estate in former Eastern German cities and brought a technology component to what was then a very manual business. It was also this experience that would ultimately lead him to where he is now.
Imran Akram
Managing Partner @ Axa Strategic Ventures
London based growth capital investor at AXA Strategic Ventures investing up to $20mm globally in sectors including enterprise software, fintech as well as consumer technologies and marketplaces in travel, health, auto and property. Current & prior investments include ForceManager (personal sales assistant for field sales people), Auto1 (Europe's largest online used car marketplace), Quandoo (restaurant reservations) and Sonovate (software and finance to HR agencies) amongst others.
Nenad Marovac
Founder & Managing Partner @ DN Capital
Nenad Marovac has more than 25 years of venture capital and private equity investment experience in the technology and media sectors. Nenad is the Founder and Managing Partner of DN Capital. Prior to DN Capital, Nenad was a Partner at Advent International in London, where he focused on TMT investments. Nenad focuses on investments in marketplaces, software as a service (SAAS), fintech, consumer mobile applications and digital health companies. Amongst his select investments are Shazam Entertainment (sold to Apple), Auto1 (largest online marketplace for used cars), Apsmart (acquired by Thomson Reuters), Book A Tiger, Datanomic (acquired by Oracle), Endeca, (acquired by Oracle), Eve Sleep (IPO London), Happn, Hometogo, Hostmaker, Joblift, Mister Spex, Performance Horizon Group, Purplebricks (IPO London), Tbricks (acquired by Orc) and Quandoo (acquired by Recruit Holding). Nenad is also the Chairman of the Venture Capital Board of Invest Europe and an active member of YPO in London and Berlin. Nenad received an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School
Martin Hauge
Chairman of the board @ Frog Capital
Martin is an advisor and angel investor with 15 years’ experience as a professional investor, primarily as former General Partner in Creandum (first VC in Spotify), where he was responsible for multiple exits a.o. Jays AB (IPO), IPtronics (acquired by Mellanox) and Nanoradio (acquired by Samsung). He is an investor in London based Kindred Capital, Felix Capital and Frog Capital where he is the Chairman of the Board. Martin has started multiple companies and he is or has recently been on the board of No Isolation (N), Automile (US), Appear TV (N), Vivino (US) and Auto-Butler (DK). In addition, he recently invested in the Slovakian flying car company AeroMobil. Martin's track record includes more than 15 years of operational experience as a CEO and more than 25 years of board experience from tech companies.
Dr. Christoph Braun
Managing Partner @ Acton Capital Partners
Christoph Braun is co-founder and Managing Partner of Acton Capital Partners, a Munich based late-stage venture capital firm. Prior to founding Acton, Christoph conceptualized and implemented Burda Digital Ventures (BDV) as a corporate VC investing in young entrepreneurial teams in internet and mobile-enabled businesses. He has been involved in a multitude of successful deals and exits and has built the investment team that is still the core of Acton Capital. Before joining Burda and founding Acton, Christoph was Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. Christoph holds an MBA from Dartmouth College and a Ph.D. from the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
Michiel Kotting
General Partner @ NorthZone
Michiel is a General Partner at Northzone, focusing on SaaS, healthcare and AI. He leads Northzone’s investments in Catawiki, FreightHub, Personio and Aidence. Prior to joining Northzone, Michiel was an investor at Accel London. Originally from the Netherlands, Michiel spent the early years of his career at BCG before founding Digital Jones, an artificial intelligence company, in Silicon Valley. Michiel has a graduate degree in physics from Delft University of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Kinga Stanisławska
Managing Partner & Co-Founder @ Experior Venture Fund
Kinga is Managing Partner and Founder of Experior Venture Fund (EVF). She has been involved in investing in technology companies across Central and Eastern Europe for the past 17 years. She actively supports portfolio companies in value creation, strategic initiatives and fundraising processes, working closely with EVF portfolio companies. Kinga is Vice President of the Polish PE & VC Association (PSIK). She is involved in multiple mentoring projects with start ups, in particular those led by women. She is member of the European Innovation Council High Level Group advising Commissioner Carlos Moedas on innovation and funding in EU.
Cédric Köhler
Managing Partner @ Creathors
With more than 10 years of experience in venture capital, Cédric Köhler specializes in innovative business concepts in the technology sector. Prior to joining Creathor Ventures Cédric Köhler worked several years as a business consultant at Synpulse in Zurich, where he was involved in projects in the areas of CRM, web applications, customer retention systems and business development. He has a master’s degree in business administration and majored in business informatics. He gained venture capital experience at the Technologieholding VC GmbH along with international work experience in France and the US in particular. He attended the European Business School in Oestrich-Winkel.
Joost Holleman
Partner @ Prime Ventures
Joost Holleman joined as Partner in 2009 and is responsible for all aspects of the operations of Prime Ventures including investor relations. Before joining Prime, Joost was with AlpInvest Partners in Amsterdam, one of the leading independent investors in private equity funds in the world (35 billion euro under management). As of 2001 he has led a large number of fund investments on behalf of AlpInvest in buy-out, mezzanine and particularly in venture capital. He was a member of numerous advisory boards in Europe and Israel including, Advent International, Apax, Atlas Venture, Eden Ventures, CVC, DBAG, Genesis, Halder-Gimv, Index Ventures, Northzone, Pitango, Sofinnova, TVM and Waterland. Before his time at AlpInvest Joost was a senior consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the area of strategy and organizational design (1997 – 2001). Preceding that period he was research fellow at Leiden University. Joost has two master degrees and a PhD in Theology at Leiden University and Yale University. His time at Yale was sponsored by a Fulbright scholarship and his dissertation won the Erasmus Study Prize in Humanities
Christian Nagel

Dr. Christian Nagel is Co-Founder and Partner of Earlybird and based at the Berlin office. Christian has more than 24 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience. He was Chairman of the Board of Tipp24 AG (Prime Standard Frankfurt Exchange: TIM) and Interhyp AG (Prime Standard Frankfurt Exchange: IYP), which returned more than 50x the original Earlybird investment. Up till the trade sale to SMSC (NASDAQ: SMSC) he also served on the board of BridgeCo AG (Zurich). He currently serves on the boards of CrossEngage (Berlin), N26 (Berlin), ShapeShift (Zug/Denver), smava (Berlin) and Tradico (Munich). Prior to founding Earlybird in 1997, Christian, together with a group of investors, acquired various companies from the Treuhandanstalt (the former East-German state holding) and gained operational experience. He was a shareholder and an Executive Director of HNP Präzisionsteile GmbH & Co. KG, SMB Industrieholding GmbH, DH Industrieholding Hohenthurm GmbH and a number of other subsidiary companies of these holding companies. Previously, Christian worked as an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Co. Inc. focusing on restructuring, strategy and M&A projects within various industries. He holds a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur degree (Industrial Engineering, MSc equivalent) from the Technical University of Hamburg, specializing in process engineering and a PhD degree in management from the University of St. Gallen.
