Tomas Kubica
Director, Private Equity @ KKR
Tomas Kubica (London) joined KKR in 2012 in London, and spent two years in KKR’s Menlo Park office in 2016-18. He is a member of the Technology, Media, & Telecommunications industry team, with a focus on technology. Mr. Kubica has been involved with KKR’s investments in Optiv, OVH, SoftwareOne, Arago, SBB/Telemach Group, Acteon, Avincis, and TDC. Before joining KKR, he was with Goldman Sachs International in London and McKinsey & Co in Prague. Mr. Kubica received his degrees from INSEAD and State University of New York Empire State College, both with valedictorian honors, and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
Ondrej Bartos
Partner @ Credo Ventures
An entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Ondrej experienced his first successful business endeavor before he graduated from college in 1996. Several business enterprises later, he is now managing the early stage venture capital firm Credo Ventures, which he co-founded in January 2009. Until December 2008 he served as the Senior Investment Director of MCI Management S.A., where he was responsible for managing investments in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and former Yugoslavia. Ondrej views venture capital as a tool to help entrepreneurs reach their goals, execute their visions, and boost the economy by supporting innovative ideas and projects. Since 2009 he also stars in the investment TV show Den D on Czech TV.
Christian Mandl
Managing Partner @ Neulogy Ventures
Christian Mandl is Managing Partner at Neulogy Ventures, a Bratislava-based early-stage VC fund with a portfolio of 37 technology companies. Christian co-founded SkyEurope in 2001, a Central European low-cost airline based in Slovakia, which he managed until 2007 as Chief Executive Officer. He took SkyEurope public on the Vienna and Warsaw stock exchanges in 2005 before exiting his investment in 2007. In 2009, Christian took over the assets of Maporama, a leading French provider of digital mapping solutions for professional users. He restructured the company and sold it in March 2013 to TIBCO Software, a that time a NASDAQ-listed company. Christian is a member of the Venturepreneurs’ Organization, a European network of business angels, and has been selected in 2013 as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum
Bartolomiej Gola
General Partner @ Speed Up
Bartek is a general partner of SpeedUp Group. He's involved in early-stage project implementation in the areas associated with martech, marketplace, IoT and hardware. He has a wealth of experience in the marketing & advertising industry – he went through all the career positions all the way up to managing partner of the BLT Group (co-founder and shareholder) and TEQUILA\ Poland. He's been in the startup sector for over 8 years; starting as an investor in several initiatives implemented by other business partners, he's a co-creator of a dozen technology startups. His knowledge and experience help support portfolio companies in business model development and testing, managing and creating business strategies as well as negotiations. He preps them for acquiring consecutive rounds of funding and supports them in the sale of shares, and cooperation with big business partners. For the last couple of years, Bartek has been intensively supporting the development of the Polish startup community.

Ewa Abel
Investment Manager @ EIF
Investment Manager at the European Investment Fund, focusing on investments into European tech VC funds. Previously Partner at Giza Polish Ventures VC fund, responsible for initial analysis of investment prospects, Business and Intellectual Capital Due Diligence, overseeing of the investment process and monitoring of portfolio companies. Ewa holds an MSc in Finance degree from EDHEC Business School in Nice, France and a BA in Business and International Finance from Oxford Brookes in UK.
Ertan Can
Founding Partner @ Multiple Capital
Ertan is founding partner of Multiple Capital. A new generation of fund of VC funds to democratize access to technology innovation in Europe. Prior to Multiple, Ertan was Investment Director at a Family Office, in charge of building a portfolio of venture capital direct and fund investments. He invested in over 20 early-stage direct investments and 12 VC funds and has built a strong global network of early-stage venture capitalists and founders. Ertan has graduated in International Finance & Law from Frankfurt University and London Metropolitan University and received his MBA from ESCP. He is still associated with the department of finance at Frankfurt University today by being a visiting lecturer on entrepreneurship and venture capital.
Günter Oszwald

Günter Oszwald has more than 20 years of international experience in the area of tax advising with a specialization in foreign investors in Slovakia and Czech Republic. Günter has successfully led a large number of international company taxation projects including M&A related projects, primarily in the areas of financial services, the automotive industry, telecommunications, energy and construction. He has been a member of the Austrian Chamber of Tax Advisors and Chartered Accountants since 1995.
