Hans van Swaay is a partner of Lyrique and has been active for more than twenty years in private equity as co-founder of Lyrique, as Head of Private Equity at Pictet & Cie, as Managing Director of UBS Capital, as Managing Director of Merifin and as partner of Lowe Finance. Lyrique invests in private equity for family offices, private wealth institutions and institutional investors.
Lyrique makes investments in niche private equity and venture capital funds. Hans is a co-author Private Equity 4.0, Reinventing Value Creation, published by Wiley in February 2015.

Before establishing 0100 Ventures with his co-founders in 2016, Marek co-founded an accelerator, RubixLab, with the mission to attract international teams to Slovakia in the middle of 2014. Previously Marek worked in Kuala Lumpur at a company builder and an investment company Nova Founders Capital where he was responsible for the development of Private Equity Insights (PEI) startup focusing on the Swiss market. Overall Marek lived and worked in 6 countries and attended universities such as University of Manchester, Copenhagen Business School, Oxford Brookes University or Université Paris-Dauphine. Marek has also founded VESTBERRY, a company helping LPs to resolve transparency issues with GPs in Private Equity and Venture Capital by standardised reporting system and advanced analytics.
Managing Partner & Co-CEO @ SwanCap Partners
Andreas Bohn is Co-CEO & Managing Partner of SwanCap Partners, a leading independent private equity investment management platform with offices in Munich, Luxembourg, Milan and New York. Prior to joining SwanCap in 2015, Andreas worked for 22 years in a wide range of investment banking and private equity related functions at UniCredit/HypoVereinsbank, most recently serving as a Management Board member at UniCredit Bank AG and as a member of the Global UniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking Executive Committee. He co-founded and for many years led UniCredit’s Leveraged Finance business, which provided total debt financing in excess of €50 billion for over 400 private equity sponsored transactions in the European market. He also established the Private Equity / Principal Investments business of UniCredit, which committed a total of ca. €5bn to leading private equity sponsors, through fund investments as well as co-investments. Andreas received an MBA from Ludwig-Maximilians University and a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Munich.
Senior Investment Director – Private Equity & Venture Capital @ Ireland Strategic Investment Fund
The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) was established in December 2014, with a statutory mandate to invest on a commercial basis in a manner designed to support economic activity and employment in Ireland. The ISIF is valued at c. €9 billion and is available to invest in Ireland as suitable investment opportunities arise and are developed. The dual objective mandate of the ISIF - investment return and economic impact - represents a new approach to investing and will require all investments to generate both investment returns and economic impact in Ireland. The fund has the flexibility to make investments across the capital structure of companies and projects, both debt and equity, and across a range of investment types and sectors.

David Boal is a Managing Director and Head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Siguler Guff. Based in London, Mr. Boal leads Siguler Guff’s European business.
Prior to joining Siguler Guff in 2015, Mr. Boal was a Managing Director at The Abraaj Group, where he led the firm's European fundraising and client coverage team. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management responsible for institutional investor coverage. During his tenures at both Credit Suisse and Abraaj, Mr. Boal specialized in the marketing and distribution of private equity and infrastructure investment products. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Boal was a Managing Director of the global equity boutique at Perpetual Limited, an Australian investment management company. Prior to Perpetual, Mr. Boal served as a Managing Director and head of the London office at Bank of Ireland Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Boal was a Director and head of sterling bonds at J.P. Morgan's London office, where he had fiduciary responsibility to the Bank of England for the firm's primary dealer. In addition, he led the distribution of debut sterling issues for sovereign borrowers including Hungary, South Africa, Greece and Russia. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Boal was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he helped establish the firm's UK gilt business. Mr. Boal began his career as an Economist in the strategic planning division of Shell International Petroleum.
Mr. Boal is a trustee of Find Your Feet, a non-governmental organization working in rural communities in Asia and Africa. He has served on the Bank of England working committee for gilt market reform and as a trustee of the Credit Suisse Foundation.
Mr. Boal holds a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Queen's University Belfast and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Shirin Dehghan, Senior Partner, is a former technology entrepreneur and CEO who co-founded telecoms software company, Arieso, in 2002, and understands the challenges CEOs face. She raised venture capital, grew to 50 tier-1 customers in 30 countries and to over €40m in revenues, and successfully exited Arieso at 40x EBITDA; thus returning 5x to investors. Frog Capital is not a typical VC that simply invests capital; Shirin applies a PE mentality, implementing our very own ‘Scale-Up Methodology’ to help companies across a number of areas.

At Franklin Park, John is involved with the post-investment monitoring and reporting efforts, which include daily accounting, compliance, fund manager oversight and performance reporting. John is also actively involved with operational due diligence efforts such as providing pre-investment assessments of the back-office infrastructure of prospective fund managers. John oversees Franklin Park’s European office. Prior to joining Franklin Park in 2009, John worked with Goldman Sachs, SEI Investments and JP Morgan.

Dr Joerg Goschin is Co-CEO and Senior Managing Director of KfW Capital, the new 100% subsidiary of KfW Group for VC-funds investments in German and European venture capital and venture debt funds. Joerg is founder and experienced investment professional, has in-depth market knowledge and a close-knit network in the venture capital community. Previous stations of his career include Metzler, The Boston Consulting Group, BNP Paribas, Cerberus, Blackstone and Alstin. Joerg holds a PhD in finance and diploma in electrical engeneering and economics.

With over 20 years in the industry, Tony is an experienced investor and has also advised numerous public and private equity businesses. In December 2014, Tony became CEO of Gresham House and brought in a new management team that has transformed the company from an investment trust into an AIM listed specialist asset management group.
Tony started his career at Phillips & Drew Fund Management (later UBS Global Asset Management), one of the UK’s most prominent value investment firms with £60 billion in assets at its peak. He was a member of the UK Equity Investment Committee with responsibility for managing over £1.5 billion of UK equities.
In 2002 Tony founded and became CIO of SVG Investment Managers and CEO of SVG Advisers (formerly Schroder Ventures (London) Limited), the global private equity funds business and specialist alternatives manager. He established and led the growth of SVG Investment Managers, before launching Strategic Equity Capital plc, a London listed Investment Trust in 2005.
Tony currently Chairs the London Pension Fund Authority’s Investment Panel, which oversees £4.6 billion in AUM. He is also an Independent non-executive of JP Morgan Private Equity Limited plc, and advises St Edmund College’s Endowment Fund.
Head of Equity Investment Unit @ Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c.
Ray has been involved in various areas of investments markets for AIB over the last 28 years and over the last four years has been responsible for the valuation and governance of all equities that are held by AIB itself. Heading up the Equity Investment Unit within Specialised Finance which is part of Wholesale and Institutional Corporate Banking Unit. Part of this role encompasses 14 active seed, venture and development capital funds primarily in the Irish ecosystem. Ray has led the strategy and responsible for the sourcing, appraisal and execution for investment into 10 new funds over that time with a total of €100m committed facilitating up to €1bn of equity available to Irish companies. The strategy has more recently expanded to include investment into international Fintech/financial services funds which supports the bank’s strategic objectives. Previous roles in AIB include bancassurance and Private Banking product development, portfolio manager in asset management, head of Planning in Polish subsidiary and Capital & Investor Relations Officer. Ray is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland having trained in PWC and also holds a business studies degree from Dublin City University.
