Michael Neary is a partner in the Corporate Finance department with business advisors, Grant Thornton. Michael joined the firm in 2001 and has advised on some of the firm’s largest transactions to date. He specialises in advising on buying and selling companies, raising finance and company valuations. He advises on the development and implementation of strategies to enhance and realise shareholder value, including situations where the company is experiencing financial stress. With over twenty years corporate finance and private equity experience Michael has led a wide range of transaction types and sizes in a broad variety of industries providing creative solutions for the clients. Michael is a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI). He also has a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) from the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG)
Hans van Swaay

Hans van Swaay is a partner of Lyrique and has been active for more than twenty years in private equity as co-founder of Lyrique, as Head of Private Equity at Pictet & Cie, as Managing Director of UBS Capital, as Managing Director of Merifin and as partner of Lowe Finance. Lyrique invests in private equity for family offices, private wealth institutions and institutional investors. Lyrique makes investments in niche private equity and venture capital funds. Hans is a co-author Private Equity 4.0, Reinventing Value Creation, published by Wiley in February 2015.

Stephen is Head of Ireland at Pantheon and has held numerous positions in the operations, finance and risk functions of private and publicly listed international financial services and renewables businesses in London and Dublin. Stephen has previous experience with Pantheon in London, 3i Group and Cantor Fitzgerald. Stephen is a member of Chartered Accountants Ireland and received his BComm from University College Dublin.

Before establishing 0100 Ventures with his co-founders in 2016, Marek co-founded an accelerator, RubixLab, with the mission to attract international teams to Slovakia in the middle of 2014. Previously Marek worked in Kuala Lumpur at a company builder and an investment company Nova Founders Capital where he was responsible for the development of Private Equity Insights (PEI) startup focusing on the Swiss market. Overall Marek lived and worked in 6 countries and attended universities such as University of Manchester, Copenhagen Business School, Oxford Brookes University or Université Paris-Dauphine. Marek has also founded VESTBERRY, a company helping LPs to resolve transparency issues with GPs in Private Equity and Venture Capital by standardised reporting system and advanced analytics.
Andreas Bohn

Andreas Bohn is Co-CEO & Managing Partner of SwanCap Partners, a leading independent private equity investment management platform with offices in Munich, Luxembourg, Milan and New York. Prior to joining SwanCap in 2015, Andreas worked for 22 years in a wide range of investment banking and private equity related functions at UniCredit/HypoVereinsbank, most recently serving as a Management Board member at UniCredit Bank AG and as a member of the Global UniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking Executive Committee. He co-founded and for many years led UniCredit’s Leveraged Finance business, which provided total debt financing in excess of €50 billion for over 400 private equity sponsored transactions in the European market. He also established the Private Equity / Principal Investments business of UniCredit, which committed a total of ca. €5bn to leading private equity sponsors, through fund investments as well as co-investments. Andreas received an MBA from Ludwig-Maximilians University and a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Munich.
Ana Maria Harrison

Ana Maria is a Partner and member of the Investor Relations Team. She works closely with clients in the development and monitoring of their private equity programs. Additionally, she is involved in the portfolio construction and monitoring of the various FoFs and separate accounts. Prior to Adams Street, Ana Maria worked at multi-family office Signia as Head of Private Equity. Other roles include Executive Director Private Equity at UBS Wealth Management and Director Alternative Investments at Citigroup Private Bank. Ana Maria is a native of Venezuela and has a BA in Economics from Northwestern University and an MBA from INSEAD.

Senior Investment Director – Private Equity & Venture Capital @ Ireland Strategic Investment Fund
The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) was established in December 2014, with a statutory mandate to invest on a commercial basis in a manner designed to support economic activity and employment in Ireland. The ISIF is valued at c. €9 billion and is available to invest in Ireland as suitable investment opportunities arise and are developed. The dual objective mandate of the ISIF - investment return and economic impact - represents a new approach to investing and will require all investments to generate both investment returns and economic impact in Ireland. The fund has the flexibility to make investments across the capital structure of companies and projects, both debt and equity, and across a range of investment types and sectors.
David Boal

David Boal is a Managing Director and Head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Siguler Guff. Based in London, Mr. Boal leads Siguler Guff’s European business. Prior to joining Siguler Guff in 2015, Mr. Boal was a Managing Director at The Abraaj Group, where he led the firm's European fundraising and client coverage team. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse Asset Management responsible for institutional investor coverage. During his tenures at both Credit Suisse and Abraaj, Mr. Boal specialized in the marketing and distribution of private equity and infrastructure investment products. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Boal was a Managing Director of the global equity boutique at Perpetual Limited, an Australian investment management company. Prior to Perpetual, Mr. Boal served as a Managing Director and head of the London office at Bank of Ireland Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Boal was a Director and head of sterling bonds at J.P. Morgan's London office, where he had fiduciary responsibility to the Bank of England for the firm's primary dealer. In addition, he led the distribution of debut sterling issues for sovereign borrowers including Hungary, South Africa, Greece and Russia. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Mr. Boal was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he helped establish the firm's UK gilt business. Mr. Boal began his career as an Economist in the strategic planning division of Shell International Petroleum. Mr. Boal is a trustee of Find Your Feet, a non-governmental organization working in rural communities in Asia and Africa. He has served on the Bank of England working committee for gilt market reform and as a trustee of the Credit Suisse Foundation. Mr. Boal holds a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Queen's University Belfast and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Shirin Dehghan
Senior partner @ Frog Capital
Shirin Dehghan, Senior Partner, is a former technology entrepreneur and CEO who co-founded telecoms software company, Arieso, in 2002, and understands the challenges CEOs face. She raised venture capital, grew to 50 tier-1 customers in 30 countries and to over €40m in revenues, and successfully exited Arieso at 40x EBITDA; thus returning 5x to investors. Frog Capital is not a typical VC that simply invests capital; Shirin applies a PE mentality, implementing our very own ‘Scale-Up Methodology’ to help companies across a number of areas.
John Mahony

At Franklin Park, John is involved with the post-investment monitoring and reporting efforts, which include daily accounting, compliance, fund manager oversight and performance reporting. John is also actively involved with operational due diligence efforts such as providing pre-investment assessments of the back-office infrastructure of prospective fund managers. John oversees Franklin Park’s European office. Prior to joining Franklin Park in 2009, John worked with Goldman Sachs, SEI Investments and JP Morgan.

Dr Joerg Goschin is Co-CEO and Senior Managing Director of KfW Capital, the new 100% subsidiary of KfW Group for VC-funds investments in German and European venture capital and venture debt funds. Joerg is founder and experienced investment professional, has in-depth market knowledge and a close-knit network in the venture capital community. Previous stations of his career include Metzler, The Boston Consulting Group, BNP Paribas, Cerberus, Blackstone and Alstin. Joerg holds a PhD in finance and diploma in electrical engeneering and economics.
Anthony Dalwood

With over 20 years in the industry, Tony is an experienced investor and has also advised numerous public and private equity businesses. In December 2014, Tony became CEO of Gresham House and brought in a new management team that has transformed the company from an investment trust into an AIM listed specialist asset management group. Tony started his career at Phillips & Drew Fund Management (later UBS Global Asset Management), one of the UK’s most prominent value investment firms with £60 billion in assets at its peak. He was a member of the UK Equity Investment Committee with responsibility for managing over £1.5 billion of UK equities. In 2002 Tony founded and became CIO of SVG Investment Managers and CEO of SVG Advisers (formerly Schroder Ventures (London) Limited), the global private equity funds business and specialist alternatives manager. He established and led the growth of SVG Investment Managers, before launching Strategic Equity Capital plc, a London listed Investment Trust in 2005. Tony currently Chairs the London Pension Fund Authority’s Investment Panel, which oversees £4.6 billion in AUM. He is also an Independent non-executive of JP Morgan Private Equity Limited plc, and advises St Edmund College’s Endowment Fund.

Kriss is a senior investment manager in EIF’s earlystage VC and BA fund-of-funds practice, former business angel, entrepreneur and management consultant. Kriss has a "hands-on" experience in co-founding and developing businesses in product and service sectors, advisory work, as well as investing himself as a business angel. Kriss holds an MBA degree from INSEAD (Singapore, France).

He sits on the boards of Divido, Chattermill & Hometree. Guy began his career in strategy consulting spending 4 years at OC&C advising PE Funds and large European TMT, retail and FMCG clients. Guy graduated from Cambridge with a first-class degree in Social and Political Sciences and subsequently spent a year studying Economics and Management at the Judge Business School.
Christian Claussen

As a Managing Partner Christian Claussen heads Ventech’s investment activities in the DACH region. He currently represents Ventech in the boards of German portfolio companies Picanova, TV Smiles, Speexx, FinTec Systems, Codasip and US-based Arteris. Christian looks back on 20 years of hands-on innovation financing and during that time has backed 25 start-ups. 12 of these have been profitably exited while 8 companies are still actively pursuing their growth strategies. Notable exits include Tantau Inc. (acquired by 7/24 Systems), CoreOptics (acquired by Cisco), Silicon Hive (acquired by Intel), Netviewer (acquired by Citrix), Definiens (acquired by Astra Zeneca), Arteris (acquired by Qualcomm), Plista (acquired by GroupM), Turtle Entertainment (acquired by Modern Times Group), Tennis Point (acquired by Karstadt Holding company Signa Group) and most recently Trust You (acquired by Recruit Holdings/Japan). Prior to joining the VC Industry in 1998, Christian spent 10 years in Europe's Telecommunications Industry and holds an EE MSc. with the Technical University of Karlsruhe (D), University of Essex (Colchester/UK) and Ecole Supérieure des Ingénieurs en Electronique et Electrotechnique (Paris/F).
David Barbour

David Barbour is the Managing Partner of FPE Capital LLP. FPE Capital LLP is an established growth capital investor in the UK lower mid-market, having made 14 investments to date, with revenue growth of over 130% across its portfolio. The firm’s Fund II was closed at £101m in October 2017 and four investments have been made to date. The focus is on high growth UK based companies with a technology enabled B2B focus. David started his career in the broadcast media and became a lawyer then investment banker at Robert Fleming and JP Morgan. He currently sits on the boards of London based fixed wireless telco and IT company Optimity and of IWSR, the leading specialist B2B information provider to the global alcohol industry.

Prior to joining MML Ireland, Neil spent 5 years as an Investment Director with FL Partners. Gerry is a General Partner at Atlantic Bridge and is an experienced Investor, Executive and Design Engineer with a thirty-year career in the technology industry. Prior to joining Atlantic Bridge, he was Vice President R&D at Parthus Technologies responsible for managing a business which included divisions in Ireland, UK and USA. Gerry joined the company in 1993 and played a key role in its transition from startup to successful IPO on Nasdaq. Gerry also held senior management roles at several technology companies including Philips and Texas Instruments. Gerry has a BA, BAI degree in Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin and a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.

Marco Brockhaus is the founder and CEO of Brockhaus Capital Management AG ("BCM"). As a technology holding, BCM focuses on long-term majority investments in technology driven and innovation led growth companies in the German-speaking region. With three consecutive private equity fund generations under the brand of Brockhaus Private Equity (BPE), Mr. Brockhaus has established around two decades of successful track record in this segment.
