David Buttress

David is a Partner at 83North, based in the London office. He joined JUST EAT in March 2006 to launch its UK business, and was appointed CEO in January 2013. David led JUST EAT in the UK from startup to becoming Europe’s largest technology IPO in a decade. As CEO of JUST EAT David was responsible for leading several major investments and acquisitions. Highlights include acquiring leading technology businesses in Australia (menulog), Spain (la nevera roja) , Italy (Pizza Bo), Canada (Skip the Dishes), UK (hungryhouse and Flypay) and LATAM (ifood). In 2014, David was named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Investor Allstars Awards and he was also named as one of Britain's most influential people in the Debrett's 500 2015, 2016 and 2017. David was a Special Advisor to 83North for several years before joining as a partner in 2017.
Alexander Frolov

Alexander joined Target Global in 2012 and is focusing on the firm’s consumer internet and marketplace investments, including Delivery Hero and Dreamlines. Prior to joining Target Global, Alexander worked at the VC firm DFJ Esprit in London. Before that, he led several private and corporate startups in the tech field, including the medical business unit of United Corporation for Innovations. He started his career as an analyst at Troika Dialog Asset Management, where he covered the telecom and IT sectors. Alexander holds a bachelor’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and an MBA from the London Business School. Alexander also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst ® designation.
Josh Bell

Josh is a General Partner at Dawn and leads our Fintech investments. Josh works with portfolio companies iZettle, Wonga, Obillex, Fanduel, Autobutler, Property Partner, Sonovate and Zumper. Before joining Dawn in 2007, he worked with McKinsey & Company, managing teams that advised boards of Fortune global 500 financial institutions based in London, Geneva, Amsterdam and New York. While at McKinsey, Josh was recognised within the firm as a leading financial services expert in Europe. Within his retail and wholesale banking work, Josh devoted significant time to informing clients on the impact of new technologies on their industries, and helping to assess and implement these technologies for their businesses. In addition to his private sector client work, Josh was also integral to supporting McKinsey’s relationship with the World Economic Forum, leading McKinsey support for the WEF's financial services knowledge initiatives and activities, principally for the Davos conferences in 2006 and 2007. Josh was a Graduate Scholar at Oxford University in Mathematics. He was subsequently a Research Fellow at Harvard University in Economics and Game Theory, publishing papers in Game Theory and IT Security journals before studying operational research and advanced financial modelling at Cambridge University, as part of an MPhil in Statistics; his MPhil research was supported by the Rand Institute of Santa Monica, California.
Jean-François Félix
Managing Director - CEO of ERES @ Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity
Jean-François is the CEO of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity (France), a management company investing a minority co-investment fund (ERES) and a mid-market buyout fund of funds (Privilege). He started his career as a strategic consultant at McKinsey & Co, where he stayed until 1996. After spending some time at the DSP turnaround fund in Philadelphia (USA), he joined Vestar Capital Partners in Paris in 2001 where he held a number of positions before heading the firm until 2012. Jean-François participated in many majority transactions at DSP and Vestar. In particular, he managed the investments in SAB Wabco (2002) and AZ Electronic Materials (2007). He was a member of SAB Wabco's board of directors from 2002 to 2004 and of AZ Electronic Materials' board of directors from 2007 to 2011, further to its listing on the London Stock Exchange. He is a graduate of HEC Paris and Harvard Business School (MBA). He is also a member of the SFAF (French association of financial analysts).
Florian Kreitmeier

Florian is a founder and Co-CEO at SwanCap Partners. SwanCap was established 2013 by spinning off UniCredit´s Private Equity business, a €2.5bn franchise with offices in Europe and New York which had been headed by Florian since 2011. Prior to SwanCap and UniCredit, Florian was at Apax Partners, a leading private equity firm typically investing in companies with an enterprise value between €1bn and €5bn and over €30bn assets under management. At Apax Florian was part of the Retail & Consumer Goods team. During this time, he was involved in several successful transactions in Europe and North America in the retail and consumer space as well as the telecom sector. Before Apax, Florian spent four years in investment banking working for a $2bn CLO fund in New York as well as for HVB Group's Leveraged Finance division in London and Munich as a Vice President, responsible for structuring and executing LBOs. Prior to that he worked as a strategic consultant for three years on a variety of projects with leading global consulting companies and was an assistant professor at the Institute for Strategic Management at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (LMU), Germany. Florian is a visiting professor at selected European Universities and serves on a number of boards and committees in Europe and the US and holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Munich as well as a MBA from Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich (Germany) and from the European Management Academy (Paris).

Andreas C. Simon, 1973, has been with Capvis Equity Partners since 2007. Previously he was project manager with the Corporate Finance M&A department of Siemens AG, Munich and worked as a commercial sales manager with Siemens Power Generation. After his studies he worked with Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in the European Mergers & Acquisitions team in London. Andreas C. Simon works with the Investment Team at Capvis Equity Partners in Baar. He is responsible for “Engineered Products”. He has a board membership with RENA, arena and ProXES (subject to closing). Dariusz Prończuk is a Managing Partner of Enterprise Investors (EI) and Board member of several companies from the EI portfolio. Dariusz has over 30 years of private equity, corporate finance and industry experience in the CEE region. Since joining Enterprise Investors in 1993, he has made more than 20 investments in Poland and in all the major CEE countries, primarily in the financial services, IT, construction materials and FMCG sectors. Key among them have been investments in Lukas and Lukas Bank, Comp Rzeszów (now Asseco Poland), COMP, Magellan, Kruk, Netrisk and AVG.
Andreas Schmidt

Andreas Schmidt leads DB Private Equity's Primary & Co-Investment Private Equity Investment Team globally and is a member of DB PE’s Global Investment Committee. Further, he is a member of the Investor Advisory Board of numerous Private Equity funds. From 2006 to 2009, Andreas worked as an Investment Professional and Partner for CAM Private Equity in Cologne before the business became subsequently part of Deutsche Bank. Prior thereto, he was a Management Consultant at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), advising German and international firms on asset management issues as well as international Private Equity funds on strategic due diligences of German firms. Andreas Schmidt started his professional career as Assistant to the Management Board of Gerling Group and subsequently assumed responsibility for its Private Equity investments as Investment Manager. Andreas studied business engineering at the University of Karlsruhe (TH). He is a German national and is based in Cologne.
Yann du Rusquec

Yann du Rusquec joined Eurazeo in 2007. From 2007 to 2014, he has participated in the structuring or the oversight of large transactions such as Europcar and Moncler. Since 2014, he has been in charge of Eurazeo Growth, the growth equity arm of Eurazeo and has led the investments in Vestiaire Collective, Younited Credit, PeopleDoc and Farfetch. Prior to 2007, he was part of the investment banking teams of Lazard and then Morgan Stanley in Paris where he was involved in M&A transactions and IPOs, advising financial investors as well as large European companies.
Charles Letourneur

Charles Letourneur cofounded Alven in 2000. Alven is a Venture Capital fund specialized in digital and tech with 500 M€ under management. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE and Science Po Paris, and was previously in the M&A department of Lazard. Based in New York then Paris, he participated in a number of transactions (M&A, IPOs) for US and European companies. He was appointed Executive Director at Lazard in 1999. He was also member of the Executive Committee of Eurazeo.

Romain joined Partech Ventures in 2013 as General Partner where he launched and managed all of the Seed Investments activities, which have now become the largest in Europe with over 90 portfolio companies worldwide spanning 4 continents and 12 countries and 3 new investments per month with a team of 5 investors. His experience as an entrepreneur himself has inspired his passion to invest in innovating frontier technology from mobile apps, drones, autonomous vehicles, blockchain, computing technologies, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, fintech, cyber security and robots, to name just a few. Some examples of his first investments are AlephD (acquired by AOL), PriceMatch (acquired by Booking.com) and Pulse.io (acquired by Google). Romain most recently served as Vice President, Strategy and M&A at Dassault Systèmes, the 2nd largest software company in Europe.
Jean Bourcereau

Jean is a Managing Partner with Ventech, and has been investing in Venture Capital since 2000. He brings to the team his expertise in the area of Deep Tech and Telecoms, as well as knowledge of internet marketplaces business models and key actors. Jean serves as a board member for Crocus technology, Intercloud, Misterb&b, Ogury and Unilend. He was instrumental in many of Ventech’s investments, including Altitude Télécoms (ILD), Arteris (QCOM), Ateme (ATEME), Ekinops (EKI), Musiwave (MSFT), Muzicall (RNWK), Wengo (VIV) and Withings (NOK).
Alban Wyniecki

Alban is in charge of Idinvest Growth Fund II. Before joining Idinvest in November 2016, Alban spent two years at Partech Ventures, where he sourced and executed investments notably for Partech Growth Fund. Before that, Alban worked at Dassault Systèmes where he successively led the CATIA Strategy team and then the 3DS Group Corporate Strategy team. Here he managed the 3DS technical partners' portfolio, the 3DS group and the brand's corporate planning efforts, closing over 15 M&A deals. Alban started his career with various Engineering & Research consulting positions at Salomon, EADS and Geonumeric. Alban also co-created some mobile apps and regularly lectures on entrepreneurship at the HEC business school. Alban holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan (France) and is an alumnus of HEC Entrepreneurs (France)
Erkan Kilicaslan

Erkan joined Iris Capital in 2005. He is mainly responsible for late stage and growth capital investments across Europe, notably in the German speaking countries and Benelux, with a strong expertise in digital media, communications and IT. He is currently supporting companies in Germany, Austria, France, The Netherlands and the UK while he previously backed Human Inference (acq. by Neopost), Clear2Pay (exited to FIS), Tyntec (exited to Cipio/Harvard Management) and Mediakraft (exited to Gamigo). Before joining the team, Erkan was a Partner at TecVenture Partners, a VC fund based in Munich. He was responsible for investments in software and telecommunications and worked as a supervisory board member of numerous technology companies, supporting them in their M&A actions, strategic positioning and technology growth management. Previously, he worked at Technologieholding VC (now 3i Group) in Munich as Investment Manager for technology investments and at McKinsey&Company as Consultant on corporate finance and technology projects. In addition, he has worked at the Smart Card division of Schlumberger Technologies as commercial engineer for Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Erkan has a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany), studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Electronique et de Radioélectricité de Bordeaux - ENSERB (France) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (Boston, USA).
Christian Stein

Christian is an avowed nerd, who earned his first money coding software. His entrepreneurial start in working life during the tail-end of the New Economy showed him clearly what it meant to cope with tough times. Since then he has always been active at the interface between technology and business administration, among other things as a venture capital investor (at coparion and Creathor Venture), a management consultant (at BCG and E&Y) and as CFO of a fast-growing IT startup (at Easybooking). Christian is managing director of the venture capital fund COPARION. He holds a B.Sc. in Business Informatics and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Pierre-Eric Leibovici

Pierre-Eric Leibovici is a co-founder and managing partner of daphni. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Agricool, Foxintel, AnotherBrain and a member of the advisory board of The Hardware Club. After a first experience with Merrill Lynch’s emerging market risk management entity in New York. In 1997, Mr. Leibovici joined the BANEXI Telecommunications and Media Department, where he worked on private equity investment operations and corporate advisory assignments in telecom and media sectors. From 1999 to 2007, he was Partner of the ETMF II LP fund, an independent private equity fund in the IT sector. Then he co-founded and served as a managing partner of Orkos Capital in 2007 and Robolution Capital in 2012. Mr. Leibovici realized and managed as board of Directors various startup investments including Allociné, Aplio, Musiwave, Urbi TV, Plyce, Sensee.com, Limonetik, SMG, Liligo.com, B3G Telecom, Neurala, Balyo and EnerBee. In addition, he is a professor of financial engineering at ESCP EAP and has co-authored a book on legal, fiscal and financial engineering (Ingénierie Financière, Fiscale et Juridique, 2009-2010, Dalloz). He holds an MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson College (Massachusetts, USA), a Master of Science in financial engineering from the Université Panthéon Sorbonne (Paris)
Axel Krieger

Axel is a Managing Director and Founding Partner of Digital+ Partners, a growth equity fund focused on B2B software. Before, Axel was 16 years with McKinsey thereof 9 years as Partner in China, the US, and Germany. He has more than 15 years experience on topics like ‘autonomous vehicles’, ‘e-mobility’, and ‘Industry 4.0’. Amongst his select investments are NavVis (indoor digitalization), movingimage (enterprise video platform), and riskmethods (supply chain risk management). Axel received a Diplome de Grande Ecole from ESCP Europe and holds a PhD in engineering from TU Berlin. He was a scholar of ‘Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes’ and of the Bavarian Government.
Sven Oleownik

Before joining Gimv in 2015, Sven was heading Deloitte’s Corporate Finance Advisory as a Partner for twelve years. Large corporates (such as BASF, Deutsche Telekom, Lufthansa, Siemens and Volkswagen) but also Private Equity-homes (Apax, Carlyle, Emeram, EQT, Hannover Finanz, Riverside) and medium-sized companies (Bionade, Jochen Schweizer, Frequentis, MEN, Runnerspoint) were among his clients. His key expertise lies in the consumer/retail and the technology sector. Prior to working for Deloitte Sven was a Partner in a leading management consulting firm and in a medium-sized investment company.
