Fabian Wasmus joined Vitruvian, a leading tech- and healthcare-focused European growth fund, in 2017. Maurice Hernandez joined Accel-KKR in 2007 and is based in the firm’s London office where he leads buyout and growth equity investment activities across Europe.
Prior to joining AKKR, Maurice was a member of Deutsche Bank’s Mergers & Acquisitions team where he was involved in a variety of mergers, acquisitions and buyouts focused on the software and technology-enabled services sectors. Maurice previously worked at Needham & Company where he worked with emerging growth technology businesses on mergers, acquisitions and capital raising. Earlier in his career, Maurice also worked at Excite.com, a leading Internet search engine and services portal.

Maurice was involved with the firm’s past investments in Clavis Insight (acquired by Ascential plc in 2017 for $130 million), HighJump Software (acquired by Körber AG in 2017 for $750 million), Zinc Ahead (acquired by Veeva Systems in 2015 for $130 million), Endurance International Group (acquired by a private equity consortium in 2011 for $1.0 billion), iTradeNetwork (acquired by Roper Technologies in 2010 for $525 million) and Saber (acquired by EDS, later Hewlett Packard Enterprise, in 2007 for $460 million).

Francesco is a senior member of Pantheon's European investment team and a member of the European Investment Committee, the Co-investment Committee and the Global Credit Committee. Francesco was previously with Unigestion, where he managed the firm’s global secondaries programme. Before that, he led several private and corporate startups in the tech field, including the medical business unit of United Corporation for Innovations. Jean-François Le Ruyet

Jean-François Le Ruyet is a Partner of the Quilvest Private Equity team, co-managing the US/Europe co-investments and funds programs with a focus on buy-out in Europe. Jean-François is a member of the Quilvest funds and co-investments Investment Committees. He also sits on the Advisory Board of various PE funds.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Jean-François gained seven years of management and strategic consulting experience with Bain & Company as well as later with McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, Jean-François worked with several European Private Equity funds in various industries, in particular, the media and consumer goods sectors. His assignments included strategic and market due diligence, and merger and acquisition valuations. Prior to his consulting career, Jean-François worked for two years at Société Générale in São Paulo, Brazil. Jean-François is a graduate of HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Uli Grabenwarter, is Deputy Director - Equity Investments at European Investment Fund (EIF). In this capacity he oversees EIF’s activities in Impact Investing, Technology Transfer and Venture Capital, with EIF being Europe’s biggest Fund-of-Funds Investment platform in that space. Previously he was responsible for EIF’s strategic development in the equity space and in this context has led the build-up of the Social Impact Accelerator, the first pan-European social impact investing fund-of-funds. From 2010 to 2012 he conducted a 20 months research project on impact investing in collaboration with IESE University of Navarra in Barcelona and the Family Office Circle Foundation based in Switzerland, analysing best-market-practices for impact investing in the private equity and venture capital space. He is a visiting Professor for Private Equity and Venture Capital at IESE University. He regularly publishes articles and white papers on venture capital and impact investing.
