Itxaso is an Investment Partner for Microsoft Ventures. She is based in London and is responsible for the investments in Europe. Previously, Itxaso was a Principal at Lepe Partners where she led investments in venture growth companies in digital media and consumer technologies. Prior to that, she was at EC1 Capital investing in early stage startups and helping them build and commercialize their technologies. Itxaso is a Kauffman Fellow and holds a BSc and MSc in Engineering as well as a PhD focused on Economics and Venture Capital. Itxaso has also taught entrepreneurship in many institutions including Imperial College and University College London.

Jon Koplin leads the Cisco Investments EMEAR team responsible for acquisitions, joint ventures and investments.
Previous to Cisco, Jon worked as an early-stage technology investor with European family offices. Before moving into the investment arena, Jon held senior operating roles at Google and Samsung in Europe and Asia. Early in his career, Jon worked in Silicon Valley and in startups and was part of the management team of NetBeans (acquired by Sun Microsystems).

Christoph Braun is co-founder and Managing Partner of Acton Capital Partners, a Munich based late-stage venture capital firm. Prior to founding Acton, Christoph conceptualized and implemented Burda Digital Ventures (BDV) as a corporate VC investing in young entrepreneurial teams in internet and mobile-enabled businesses. Joost Holleman joined as Partner in 2009 and is responsible for all aspects of the operations of Prime Ventures including investor relations.
Before joining Prime, Joost was with AlpInvest Partners in Amsterdam, one of the leading independent investors in private equity funds in the world (35 billion euro under management). As of 2001 he has led a large number of fund investments on behalf of AlpInvest in buy-out, mezzanine and particularly in venture capital. He was a member of numerous advisory boards in Europe and Israel including, Advent International, Apax, Atlas Venture, Eden Ventures, CVC, DBAG, Genesis, Halder-Gimv, Index Ventures, Northzone, Pitango, Sofinnova, TVM and Waterland.

Kinga is Vice President of the Polish PE & VC Association (PSIK). She is involved in multiple mentoring projects with start ups, in particular those led by women. She is member of the European Innovation Council High Level Group advising Commissioner Carlos Moedas on innovation and funding in EU.
Paul Jozefak is a serial company builder and has been both an entrepreneur as well as a venture capitalist with SAP Ventures and Neuhaus Partners in the past 20 years. With his co-founder, Paul launched Liquid Labs at the beginning of 2012. This incubator for the Otto Group brought together their work experience, allowing them to implement their skillsets while taking advantage of their extensive network. Liquid Labs had successfully launched 17 companies with 6 successful exits realised. In late 2016 Paul was asked to take charge of Otto Group Digital Solutions (OGDS), the parent company of Liquid Labs and ran it until May of 2018. In this position, he continued to build new businesses for the Otto Group but was also responsible for driving innovation for the group as well as managing a broad portfolio of technology companies. He is currently in the process of launching his next venture. Paul graduated with dual degrees in Finance and German from Rutgers University. At the same time he was also involved with his first start-up in Germany, which was focused on real estate in former Eastern German cities and brought a technology component to what was then a very manual business. It was also this experience that would ultimately lead him to where he is now.

Dr. Christian Nagel is Co-Founder and Partner of Earlybird and based at the Berlin office.
Christian has more than 24 years of entrepreneurial and investment experience. He was Chairman of the Board of Tipp24 AG (Prime Standard Frankfurt Exchange: TIM) and Interhyp AG (Prime Standard
Frankfurt Exchange: IYP), which returned more than 50x the original Earlybird investment. Up till the trade sale to SMSC (NASDAQ: SMSC) he also served on the board of BridgeCo AG (Zurich).
He currently serves on the boards of CrossEngage (Berlin), N26 (Berlin), ShapeShift (Zug/Denver), smava (Berlin) and Tradico (Munich).
Prior to founding Earlybird in 1997, Christian, together with a group of investors, acquired various companies from the Treuhandanstalt (the former East-German state holding) and gained operational experience. He was a shareholder and an Executive Director of HNP Präzisionsteile GmbH & Co. KG, SMB Industrieholding GmbH, DH Industrieholding Hohenthurm GmbH and a number of other subsidiary companies of these holding companies.
Previously, Christian worked as an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Co. Inc. focusing on restructuring, strategy and M&A projects within various industries. Viktor Fischer joined Rockaway Capital from McKinsey & Company, where he worked as a Junior Partner focusing on strategy and corporate finance. Prior to McKinsey & Co, he lived in France for eleven years where he co-founded Innovatrics – a technology startup providing fast biometric identification worldwide, and IT company of the year 2015 in Slovakia. He also taught project management at the Faculty of International Law at a university in Paris. Viktor serves as a mentor in several accelerators such as StartupYard. During the time at 3i he was responsible for more than 12 investments. His track record at 3i included not only IPOs of companies such as Epigenomics, Jerini and Santhera, but also the trade sales of Evotec Neuroscience, Amaxa and Elbion.
Prior to his tenure at 3i, Stöckemann held leading positions in research as well as in business development at major pharma corporations such Schering AG and ASTA Medica (a Degussa-Hüls group subsidiary).
Klaus Stöckemann was a member of the supervisory boards or boards of Combinature, Epigenomics, Jerini, Amaxa, Immatics, as well as IntelliDx and Zonare in the United States. He is currently the Chairman of the boards of Humedics GmbH, Emperra GmbH, Caterna Vision, and is a board member of Implandata Ophthalmic Products GmbH.
